Short, sweet, and to the point

I enjoyed a refreshing stay with excellent views of the lake. The room was spacious and clean, accommodating my family comfortably. Breakfast was a delightful spread of local flavors. The staff was notably attentive, ensuring our needs were met. The location was very central, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The charming building right on the shore allowed us to jump straight into Lake Peten Itza whenever we felt like it. We were incredibly impressed with the superb view from our room, and the air conditioner worked beautifully, essential for the tropical climate!

The apartments across the street not clearly advertised!!! The pool water could definitely use a cleaning!!! More comfortable pool furniture would really enhance the experience!!!

absolutely average stay—my room had a giant hole in the door, how comforting! also, needing to walk across the street for amenities like the pool was just a charming inconvenience. considering my needs, a complimentary gesture would ve been nice, but I guess special treatment is reserved for others. I almost liked it, but couldn’t quite!

Hotel Casona De La Isla offered a delightful stay with a breathtaking view of the lake from the breakfast terrace. The staff were incredibly warm, helping us with early check-in and providing excellent recommendations for local attractions. The overall ambiance was cozy and inviting.

We loved the spacious apartment we had, especially since we were traveling with our 2 little kids. The beautiful pool area made for wonderful evening swims, and enjoying breakfast while watching the lake's sunrise was absolutely magical.

My wife says that the hot tub could be a bit warmer.

Stunning views of the lake made mornings incredible here, and the swimming pool area was a fantastic retreat after day trips. The staff were always ready to assist, even arranging our packed lunches for outings. However, the walk to certain amenities felt a bit inconvenient at times, and the hot tub could have been warmer for a more relaxing experience. Additionally, taxis for airport transfers were quite pricey, making a tuk tuk a better option if available.

Just a reliable pick for a holiday in Flores with reasonable value. The cold beers served in frozen mugs at the bar made for a great way to unwind. Grab a local map for easier exploring of the area.

casona de la isla offers spacious and modern apartments, perfect for couples looking for a comfortable stay. it's in an ideal location, with everything reachable by a nice walk. the staff was exceptionally accommodating, storing our bags until our night bus. the pool area is fantastic for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. overall, a wonderful experience!

Had an awesome time with friends! The outdoor dining overlooking the water was a highlight. We loved exploring the island and visiting Tikal. the staff even arranged our tour. The pool was a great place to unwind after a long day. I recommend trying breakfast on the patio as the views were unbeatable.
